At 9:18 a.m. on March 4, Yijing Photoelectric broke ground for a high-efficiency solar module construction project with an annual output of 5GW. Yang Jian, member of the Standing Committee of Changzhou Jintan District Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Economic Development Zone, Jiang Jinhua, chairman of Jiangsu Jintan Investment Holding Co., Ltd., representatives of the project construction unit and the management of Yijing Optoelectronics jointly cut the ribbon.
The 5GW high-efficiency solar module construction project, with a total investment of 857 million yuan, covers an area of about 200 acres, and the building area is about 170,000 square meters. It is expected to be fully put into operation in September. According to the latest production technology and technology, the project will be equipped with high-efficiency solar module automated production lines and equipment to create a digital, intensive and automated smart factory, and supporting infrastructure such as warehousing, logistics and auxiliary operations. In terms of product size, the new production capacity will conform to the current trend of large product sizes, and the specifications will be fully compatible with 210mm and below, suitable for component packaging of various sizes and types of batteries.
