Recently, in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, a 30 MW rooftop distributed photovoltaic power station was fully connected to the grid and put into operation after two years and five phases of construction. The project utilises the flexible roof resources of 210,000 square metres of local enterprises' plants, with an average annual power generation capacity of 27.67 million kilowatt hours. The project will operate for 25 years and is expected to save 228,000 tonnes of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 647,000 tonnes, helping to achieve the goal of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" as soon as possible.
