2.8GW! Toledo Solar Plans To Increase PV Module Capacity

- Sep 23, 2022-

The company currently operates a 100MW per year residential and commercial PV module production line.

Toledo Solar, like its rival PV module manufacturer First Solar, can take advantage of the tax credits available to PV module manufacturers under the Reduced Inflation Act.

We are pleased to continue to invest more in PV manufacturing in Ohio," said Aaron Bates, founder and CEO of Toledo Solar. The U.S. Congress and President Biden have passed the Forced Labor Prevention Act and the Inflation Reduction Act to level the playing field in the U.S. PV sector and protect domestic jobs, and we are committed to expanding our domestic PV module production, handing over our appreciation to the U.S. government for its efforts to advance the renewable energy industry."

Bate said Toledo Solar's production facility will have a capacity of 300MW within a year and that other expansion plans will depend on financing.
