The PV Panel Drain Clamp is a self-tightening clamp made of plastic. The length is about 68 mm, the weight is 8 grams and the width depends on the thickness of the aluminum frame of the panel. Five types are available: 45 mm, 40 mm, 35 mm, 30 mm, and 25 mm; sizes can be customized. By snapping the water clip to the bottom edge of the PV panel, the accumulated water flows away and does not scale. When it rains, due to the slight protrusion of the panel edges, the standing water cannot drain out in time, and the dirt in the standing water settles down and dirties the edges or corners of the module. The accumulation of dirt on the edges or corners of the panels will have a huge impact on the normal operation of the PV system, it reduces the power generation of the PV panels and can form a hotspot effect, reducing the service life of the panels.
