Various roof hook styles have been developed for different tile roofing types

Installation
Remove and trim tiles at installation point if necessary
If tiles are trimmed, prepare and insert sheet metal flashing (3/4”overlap)
Place roof hook in desired position, drive supplied screws into rafter
Replace overlying tile
These substantial stainless steel brackets are used to secure the mounting rails to the roof beams. This version is suitable for flat tiles/ Rosemary / peg tiles only, but please browse the other options for pan-tiles and slate roofs.
To fit, a few tiles are removed from the outside of the roof and the hook secured to a rafter pointing 'downhill' with the tek screws provided. Plywood padding can be used to ensure the correct spacing from the tile surface. The tiles are simply replaced around the hook ensuring a weatherproof finish.
